Why isn't there an "Option/Alt-click drag-to-copy" feature for form fields in Acrobat?

Like I stated in the subject title, I don't get why Adobe can't add an Option/Alt-Click Drag-to-Copy feature to Acrobat form fields like they've added to their Illustrator and Indesign programs? Don't get me wrong, I appreciate that I can hold Option/Alt-Shift-Arrow Keys to resize my form fields when needed, but I seriously have to individually select & drag-to-copy each form field rather than just hold down option (alt) and the arrow keys to copy? This problem is only exacerbated when I'm working on documents with 200+ form fields. Is there any kind of shortcut around this issue? Or am I just going to have to "suck it up"?
