Several people in our customer service department need to open batches of PDF docs and then save them into the same folder as the first one. The structure will change with each batch. If Acrobat would remember the first saved file location it would eliminate much clicking around.
I could not find any usable answers so far. Is there a solution now? - Thanks!

Hi Monikarusso,
Apologies for the delay in response, as stated above you want to set "remember the last saved file location" correct?
Acrobat doesn't remember the last saved file location, unfortunately, there isn't much that can be done in this situation.

Adobe Pro 2020 user here.....
I 10000000% agree with you! This is absurd! Makes no sense to me at all how they're saying its not possible to remember the last saved location when adobe had been remembering my last saved location for years....up until this week. Now all of a sudden every time I try to save a file, it defaults to some random temp folder and I have to manually go searching for the folder I actually need to save the document in.
It's maddening when you have to save 30 files to the same folder but have to go searching for it every single time. Literally last week that was not the case.......Get it together Adobe and fix this! Theres no reason why it can't be fixed!

What?! This is a very simple fix. A decent programmer should be able to do it in 15 minutes, top. Why Adobe hasn't implemented this very basic feature a long long time ago is beyond me.

I need this feature to be available. The productivity of many of my users is negatively impacted. How is this not a feature?

It is both ridiculous and infuritating that NOBOBY at ADOBE has thought of making sure that this extremely time-saving feature continue to be included in the latest versions. Imagine how much time is wasted worldwide from every business person on the planet having to drilldown to the same exact folder over and over again in succession in order to save and properly label a batch of documents to the proper folder.. time is money and Adobe is costing me and my business money and its beyond irritating. I'm already stressed and then dealing with absolute crap like this from one of the world's largest software manufacturers just makes me want to scream. GET IT TOGETHER!!!!!!!!!

Hi there
Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.
What is the version of the OS and the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 24.02.20759 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.
Also, try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and see if that works.
Please try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-defau... and see if that works.
If it still doesn't work, please remove the application using the Acrobat cleaner tool https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html, reboot the computer and reinstall the application using the direct link https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html

they're not going to add it because adobe (like valve, like microsoft) is extremely complacent because it has a de facto monopoly on many types of file editor/viewer, one it ironically gained through promoting piracy the way nike promoted theft of its sneakers
