Acrobat reader for Mac has "collate" and "reverse order" boxes missing on print dialog

I am using the latest version of Acrobat Reader for Mac 2020.006.20034. This was to look at a document which would not open in my other PDF software. When I came to print multiple copies of a 4 page document, the print came out uncollated and in reverse order, with the back pages printed last. The boxes I am used to seeing in the Acrobat print dialog box of collate print and reverse print order, no longer seem to be present. I am using a HP Officejet Pro 8100 ink jet printer.
