Sorry for the delay in response. 

"When you launch Reader or Acrobat, the following additional processes are listed in the Windows Task Manager - RdrCEF.exe and AcroCEF.exe.

What do these processes do, and is it possible to disable them? Here's an official help article that would let you know this in detail:

The problem is that these processes appear in the task manager without me having launch the reader or acrobat.

And additionally these four Adobe RdrCEF processes open automatically together with Adobe ARM and after a while they disappear from the taskmanager
