Adobe Reader 21.001.20135 Patch won't deploy via SUP/SCUP if the user is logged off

Noticed this today in testing Adobe Reader 21.001.20135 will not deploy if the user is logged off. It will deploy if a user is logged in. We put a machine into msi debug log mode and captured this error stack:

We have released an update for Acrobat and Reader DC(version 21.001.20138) today.

Please update the application to the latest version. In the application, go to Help > Check for updates.

thx for this info.

we use another kind of deployment-suit, but the deploy itself is basicly the same.

 

after logon of a user, my suite handeled the installation with deinstalling the former-version,

installed AdobeReaderDC2015.007.20033-de.log

and after that AdobeReaderDC2100120135-de

 

but why not in loggedof-mode?
