Adobe Reader 32 bit installing not 64 bit

Hello,

 

Is anyone having issues with Adobe Reader installing 32bit instead of the 64bit version. After the recent update with Adobe Reader one of our applications that uses Adobe Reader creashes now. When we install Acrobat Pro DC 64 bit, the application works correctly. Can anyone point me in the right direction for the 64 bit offline installer? This has been frustrating because the users that are using reader do not need Acrobat Pro DC.

Hi.

If you use the enterprise link for the offline installer you now only get the 32bit installer listed under all of the specific language options. If you chose the first option - All Languages (MUI) you then get a choice of 32bit and 64bit. However, if you try and install this 64 bit installer it gets to 15% and then crashes on any machine. This has only changed in the last few months as you previously used to get the choice under all single language download options. 2200120117 was the last version that I could find with the 32/64 bit option for English UK.
