Adobe Reader DC does not recognize PDF files

Hi. I am trying to combine several PDF fields into a single document. however, when I select the files, I get a message "Some of the files uou have selected cannot be converted into PDF and have been excluded. None of my PDF files is taken. Please help.

    I am using Adobe PDF Pack.

    Adobe Reader can't combine files so, what exactly are you using?
