Animations in PDF. Is there ANY way to do this without having to have multiple (or any) codecs on the end users machine.

Not installing flash, or 'h264', or anything else. I JUST want to play back my animated content. Dont mind exporting in whatever format will operate as a single media file.

Can it really be this hard in 2018?

But i don't want flash. Not one of my IT clients has flash installed and the mention of it leads to alarmed and in one case angry customers. No-one in their right mind would willingly install adobe's walking security loophole.

Not sure how this could not have been addressed by this company previously. But hey ho, i guess powerpoint it will have to be. Not paying fifty pounds a month for a software supposedly a 'presentation generator' that will not allow me to bring my own animations in

Today you need Flash. This will change I imagine as Flash has a death date in 2020. Then you’ll need codecs. Or Adobe will kill multimedia PDF. One or the other. They might already have decided but they haven’t told us if they have because, like, who needs any time to plan projects.
