Can't type in form field

When I move the "I" to an unsecured field I can't get my keyboard to type.
I'm using Reader 9 on XP machine

Hi,

I seem to have a similar problem. I opened this PDF file in my Acrobat 9.3.4 for Mac (10.6.4) and when I mouse over the form's blanks with the hand tool, it does not convert to I-beam tool.

The only strange thing here is that this form (a contract) is from a large and technically savvy translation company (they work with PDF files all the time). What is your suggestion (other than printing the file ....etc.).

I am having the same issue where on one PC I am able to enter information in a fillable form but on this specific PC when I try to enter the text the cursor blinks on the label rather than the text where the data needs to be inserted. Does anyone haev any solution to this problem?

I had to uninstall the adobe, check for other versions, remove the adobe from the registry and reinstall.

Hi,

I have a similar problem 1 Pc with Wind XP where I can not edit the pdf form and 3 other PCs where I am able to do this with the same file.

I've instaled and desinslated (from version 8 to X) and remove from the registers and on the PC that it is absolute critical to get this working still doenst work and I am really out of ideas..

The message is on that PC when the pdf file is opened is: "this document enabled exteded features in Adobe Reader. The document has been changed since it was created and use of extended features is no longer available. Please contact the author of the document for the original version of the document."

This message only appears on that 1 PC - the one that i need to get this running and i don't have the option to change the PC(windows was resinstalled also)

Hope someone has a solution.

Is the system date/time correct on the machine where it doesn't work? How did you transfer the file to the machine?

It worked - and you were right all the time/date were wrong and as soon as i've changed it the pdf went into the edit mode of the form. Thank you George for the help. Absolutly made my day. Cheers,Lora

I can not fill out the Security License as it will not allow me to do it. I then decided to send my friend the application so she could print it out for because then I could fill it out and and mail it it. She did not receive it. I tried to do this with 2 other friends and they also did not get it. I went to Service Ontario in Newmarket and Aurora and they were no help at all. Could I get some feedback as to how I can get this license done as I have a position for me and I seem to be getting no where. My email is
