    Hi Matt-TFL ,

Try to follow the steps given below:

1- Check for updates, launch Reader>Help menu>Check for Updates.

2- If that doesn't work, try disabling Protected Mode, launch Reader>select Edit menu>Preferences>Security(Enhanced)>uncheck the box "Enable Protected Mode at startup">OK.

Please note: Disabling Protected Mode is for troubleshooting purpose only, and not recommended, please enable Protected Mode after troubleshooting.

Could you please let me know the version of Acrobat Reader installed on the machine?

Launch Reader>Help menu>About Adobe Acrobat Reader

Which Operating System you have on the machine?

It's actually Acrobat DC from Cloud, the CC mod moved the post here.

I just upgraded from Pro 11 while troubleshooting so its the current version.

I have already disabled Protected Mode and enhanced security

    Running on Win7 Pro SP1 x64

    Hi Matt-TFL,

This was an issue we recently fixed in an out-of-band update. Please open Acrobat DC and visit Help > Check for Updates to apply the patch.

That should fix the problem. Let me know how it goes.
