I accidently hit something and changed the language of the menu options to something other than english. Now I can't read anything in the menu lists to return it to english. Can someone help me please.

Adobe is a company, not a program, and the names of several of their programs begin with the word "Adobe". In any case, this may help: Countries and Languages FAQ: How do I change the language that appears in my Creative Cloud app?

Hold the Ctrl key and start Adobe Reader. Then you can select the language.

Do you have the MUI version installed?

If not (standard version), the easiest would be to uninstall your current Reader, then reinstall the English version.
