Choose paper source by PDF page size

I think a recent update may have disabled this. Whenever I check this option the page size stays the same. I now have to choose the paper size and orientation manually everytime I try to print. Anybody else experiencing this or know of a fix?

Has this issue been resolved? I just purchased a dual tray HP printer to be able to print files like this with no success. I use a MacBook and an HP 404DW.

This does not fix the issue.  It only fixes the issue if I am printing on single page.  If I print multiple pages that are a mixture of legal and letter it still prints the default.

We've been noticing this at our office, too. It looks like both this and the "auto" paper orientation checkboxes no longer overide the settings in Page Setup, which really makes mixed-size printing a pain. This has only started in the last couple of days and affects our entire office, so I think the OP is right in suspecting an update.

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble.

Please look the the correct answer marked in a similar discussion https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-reader/quot-choose-paper-source-by-pdf-page-size-quot-not-working/td-p/11819838#M76006 and see if that helps.

I am also having this same problem.  Has anyone found a solution yet?

I'm having the same issue as well.

I am also experiencing this issue. I have been printing mixed files (letter and legal) with the same laptop and printer for months, but now it will only print one paper type at a time. I unistalled and reinstalled both Adobe and the printer driver software and am selecting "Choose paper source by PDF size" in the print window, but it will still only print all letter or all legal.
