Hi there,

I can not copy and paste the Khmer text from PDF. The text is broken as shown in the attachment. The first line is what it is supposed to look like when the second line is the one copied from PDF.

Anyone with any solution?

This looks like a font character issue. The font you use may not have the full character set?

There's nothing you can do about it with the free Reader. Report the issue to the author of the file. They need to switch to a properly encoded font for it to work properly.

Thanks for the response. What is the properly encoded font? I am testing one myself. I am using google doc and Khmer unicode. However when I convert the doc to pdf and I try to copy and paste it, the text is still broken.

Any futhure solution?

Hi Keomony37163606ruot,

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry about the delay in response.

We did check the file you shared. We can copy and paste the text without any issues.

Please let us know where exactly you paste the text after you copy it from a PDF. Are you using the Acrobat Reader to the Acrobat subscription version to open the PDF?

It would be helpful if you could share the screen recording of what happens on our end.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
