How can I disable the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC plugin for IE 11 via the registry?

We are currently deploying version 2018.011.20035

We have a mix of Windows 7 and Windows 10 machines in our environment with both versions running IE 11.

It would also be helpful to know if whatever solution is provided works with Adobe Acrobat DC Pro\Standard

Thank you.

AnandSri, your links no longer work. They take me to a search page and if I search the terms you provided the only reference is back to this post, it's a loop!
