Failed to patch from 15.020.20039 to 15.020.2042

I work in a secure environment (isolated lan) with strict version control. Currently have have Acrobat Reader DC installed and can't seem to patch it beyond 15.020.20039 (released Oct. 11, 2016).  The following planned and optional updates (.20042 and .20053) fail to install. When I double click the installer I get the following error:

I'd really like to get reader patched up to the latest 15.x version at which point I will need to make a change request to upgrade to 17.x  Not sure why this is failing, it looks like I'm trying to apply the right ones.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

(This is on Windows 7, fully patched)

Hi

As per the issue description mentioned above, you are unable to install update for Acrobat Reader, is that correct?

Please try troubleshooting steps given in the following links:

cannot install acrobat DC updates

Could not install adobe reader 10.1.4

Keep us posted with the results.
