file converted from pdf to excel looks very different with tables being distorted.

Would you confirm the exact method to convert the PDF file to Excel? Do you have Acrobat Pro subscription, or is it a freeware Adobe Acrobat Reader referring to.

Also, are you using the Export PDF feature from and within Acrobat to create the Excel file, or any other method.

If exporting the file from Windows File preview, open it in desktop app and then use Export feature. 

If you still don't get the expected result. Then please share the sample file with us for testing.
