How to delete files in Acrobat window without deleting actual files

I have about 24 files ion the window when I open Acrobat. I would like to clear this window without deleting the actual files from their folders in my computer. There seems no way to do this.

Hope you are doing well, and thanks for reaching out. 

 

To clear the list of opened files in Acrobat Application, please follow the steps as below and see If that works:

- Open the Acrobat App

- Click on Home (Button next to Menu icon) at the top left corner and click on the 'Recent' tab 

- Click on 'Clear recent' at the bottom right corner of the page. 

 

 

Also make sure you are using the latest version 25.01.205XX of the application. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.
