How to make Acrobat Reader not try to go to the Internet, at startup.

Hello, we recently updated some machines of the Corporation to the Reader DC version and when we start it, it asks us for proxy credentials, as the program tries to go out somehow to the internet. This did not happen with the previous version 11.0.23, but we had to stop using it because of the Print Button Bug with IE.

We consider two possible solutions, to make the Acrobat plug-in in IE work correctly in IE (We understand that we will not achieve that), or to disable Reader DC from trying to connect outside just by starting.

Well nothing, I'm all ears,

thanks for your attention.

Hi Domingo

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described, Acrobat Reader DC asks for the proxy credentials at startup.

Please checkout the correct answer marked in a similar discussion https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-sdk/adobe-acrobat-is-asking-for-proxy-server-username-password/m-p/8303200 and see if that works for you.
