How to send PDF file as an attachment of an existing email ?

I am using Adobe Reader XI.
When I click on the "Send File as Email Attachment" icon and select "Default email application (Microsoft Outlook)" and Continue, a new email screen comes up with the PDF as an attachment. But it comes up as a modal dialog window (it forces the user to interact with it before we can go back to using the parent application, Outlook in this case).

Since I need that PDF file to be an attachment for an existing email (I have the existing email opened before I click on the "Send File as Email Attachment" icon), I would like to drag that attachment from this new email to another email, but I can't do it because of the modal dialog window behavior.

Is it possible to make this PDF file as an attachment of an existing email that I have already open before I click on the "Send File as Email Attachment" icon ?

Thank you.

Don't use that function, then. Just attach the PDF to your email like you would any other file on your computer.

Thank you for your reply.

Unfortunately, the PDF file is not on my computer, it's on a website, so I can't simply attach it to an email.

Unfortunately, http://fineprint.com/pdfsupport-topic/paste-pdf-into-existing-email/  shows how to copy and paste the text of the PDF file, not attach the PDF file as an attachment to an email.

They have the PDF file open on Adobe Reader, then from Adobe Reader they drag it to an Outlook email.

They think they used to do it in the previous version of Adobe.
Is that not correct ?

I don't think so, but maybe it's a feature I wasn't aware of.
