I have a problem by adding comments to a PDF File on the free version of Acrobat Reader

Hi everybody,

I have a problem adding comments to a PDF file and saving this file after the work is finished.

I got a message (attached on the screenshoot but in German) that the file could not be safed on this name and that i should give the file another name or another point to safe (both is not possible at the moment).

Acutally used Adobe Acrobat Version is 2025.001.20474

Have someone had the same problem and a resolution for it?

Go to Menu - Preferences - Security (Enhanced) and make sure that "Protected View" (as well as "Protected Mode", "Enhanced Security" or anything else that is enabled there) is set to "Off". Then try again.

Also, why can't you save it under a new name?
