Hi everyone,

I'm working on some PDFs and I've noticed that some functions don't work:

- insert text at cursor

- strikethrough

- add note to replace text

All the other tools work perfectly. Could someone help me out, please?

Hi Amal,

Thanks for the reply. I actually have it all sorted out now. I opened a PDF in an online course and wanted to work on it on my computer. It turns out  many functions didn't work when I printed it to pdf but worked when I simply downloaded it.

Hi Marylag

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described on some PDF some comment functions do no t work.

Would you mind sharing the version of the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the latest version installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

You may also try to repair the installation (Win Only) from the help menu and see if that works for you.

Also as mentioned its the issue with some PDFs, please try to check the document restriction summary and see if commenting is allowed or not. Open the PDF > File > Properties > Under Security tab, Check the document restriction summary.

Regards

Amal
