Hi JoeTuf,

You need to install both Chinese font packs for Reader X (Reader XI comes with one combined Extended Font Pack).

http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4883

http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4884

P.S. the latest Reader X version is 10.1.9; I recommend that you update to that version.

Regards,

~Pranav

You have been very responsive and I thank you. I just cannot get this to

work. I do the down loads, and I keep getting sent back to square one.

Around and around. This is a real issue for me. I have installed Adobe X

and adobe XI. The other Chinese font packages just will not take....sorry

to bother you...any further thoughts??

Start with providing some information: what is your operating system?  Reader version?

What means "will not take"?

The exact names of things matter. You say you have installed Adobe X and Adobe XI. Do you mean Adobe Reader X and Adobe Reader XI? Are they both installed, and why do you have both?

You need different downloads for each one. Are you following the links in the earlier posts to find the font packs? What is the EXACT message directing you to install "X or XI"?
