Is there a way to set preferences so scrolling is always active?

It seems that every time I use reader dc I need to enable scrolling under view > page display. Is there some way to set this as my preferred setting rather than having to manually set it each time I open a document in reader?

This can be set in the Initial View options of the file, but you'll need Acrobat to do it. Reader can't change those properties.

@try67 , do you know whether you can save a PDF's view options in Acrobat (so it always opens up to those settings in Reader)?

Go to File - Properties - Initial View and set the desired parameters there.
