Markup not showing on shared PDF

When I markup my PDF on the Acrobat Reader app, I can see my specific changes in the toolbar. For example, if I replace text, it will show in the sidebar "replace selected text" and the change I made. However, when I try to share my work with others, they only see my markup as comments, not the specific markup, such as replaced text. How do I save/share my PDF so others can see specific comments and not just general comments?

Hi @thestarryskye

Could you please confirm if the recipient has checked  following preference

Enable comment type text and icon in Comments List. Please restart your application after enabling the preference( if its not already checked)

Attaching a screenshot below.

Thanks,

In what application are the others viewing the file?

I've tried having them view it in the Adobe Acrobat app and through their browser.

Viewing it in Adobe software is the best option.

What do you mean by "they only see my markup as comments, not the specific markup", exactly?

A markup is a comment... Do they not see it in the Comments List?
