Pdf comments created in windows Pdf reader are not seen in apple preview

A collegue at work is using Windows Acrobat reader to add comments to some PDF documents, which are laater sent to me. I have an apple computer and open her documents with the Preview program. And I cannot see the comments she added, only the mark that signals there is a comment there. Is there a problem or am I missing anything in my preview? Thank you very much.

    Apple Preview is a terrible PDF viewer, known to be very buggy and to corrupt PDF files just by opening them.

    You should avoid using it. Install Adobe Reader, instead.

    Well, to be honest, I have used Apple Preview a lot, and it has never corrupted my files, and it is quite light and simple to use for simple things. But thanks to your answer I have installed and discovered in Adobe Reader -"Tools"- "Comments" all what I needed to see comments made by others, and it works REALLY well. Thank you very much.
