Hi all,

I'm having an issue with 2 PDFs in particular.

When they are opened they flash open for a split second and then shuts down reader. However this doesn't happen and I can view them as normal if reader is already open, so it only happens when I am using the PDF to open reader.

This doesn't happen with any other PDFs.

I have tried a fresh re-install.

I have tried opening on a different device and it still happens so it is the files themselves.

Has this happened to anyone else before?

Does anyone have a possible fix for this?

Any guidence will be appreciated.

@Patrick38941010wt7q Yes, sometimes this happens... sometimes I ask my students to make sure when they email me a PDF, make sure it goes through...versus sending the PDF, and close down...sounds to me the PDFs are likely corrupted.

You might need to make new PDFs from the original document. I would delete the two PDFs and literally, empty the trash can or recycle bin of these two PDFs. Then make new PDFs. You should be good. Try one first, and make sure you can open and close with no issue. Then make the second one, repeat and rinse. And then try both of them opning at the same time.
