Print single sided on Mac

This question has been asked several times - and answered by Adobe staff with consistently incorrect information.

I want to print single sided from Mac OS 10.13. Adobe is set to print duplex by default. Version 2018.009....

Referring to answers provided in other threads:

1. There is no "Print duplex" option to de-select.

2. There is no way to specify to print single sided.

3. There are no settings in Mac Printer Preferences to override what the application (Acrobat) sends to the printer.

Please guys, provide an answer that is useful and correct rather than dismissive and incorrect.

Thank you.

    Hi Jamess,

We apologize for the delay in response to your query and sorry to hear the inconvenience caused  to you.

Here is an ongoing discussion going on for the similar issue- Re: How do I print single sided on a Mac or turn off double-sided printing. as you have already followed the steps suggested given in "Correct" ans and that didn't help. Then we suggest you to follow the workaround suggested in the "Helpful" answers and see if that helps you.

    Go to print your document.

Then select "Printer" at the bottom of the box.

Click the "Layout" drop down box and select the "Finishing" option.

You will see under print style a drop down box saying "2-sided printing", click on it and select "1-sided printing"

    Then print your document.

I was struggling to print single sided aswell but this worked for me, not sure why Adobe haven't said to do this!

I need an answer to this question and it looks like countless others have the same issue. There seems to be no obvious or intuitive way to turn off duplex printing.  The link Re: How do I print single sided on a Mac or turn off double-sided printing. in this thread just takes me to the community home page and I can't find any workaround other than manually printing a single page at a time.  If that is the solution then I want my money back.  Please tell me that isn't the work around.

I am also having this difficulty! From InDesign to an OKI laser printer. It's very frustrating!
