I filled out a form, then reopened it. Got message "a number is out of range." I can't close Adobe Reader.  I can't delete the app or re-upload because it's in use.

I've searched and found no answers.

What can I do?

Instructions are "Go to Edit - Preferences - General, and uncheck "Save As optimizes for Fast Web View".
Edit doesn't show Preferences

Preferences are dimmed/unclickable.
