Reader 9 PDF printing problems

I have a Kyocera FS-C5015N. When I print any multi-page PDFs to the FS-C5015N, only the first page comes out or nothing at all. I have tracked the problem down to Adobe Reader 9. I say this because I can successfully print multi-page PDFs using version 8.2. But I cannot with v9. I have downloaded the latest drivers from Kyocera's website. Same problem. I can successfully print with Word, Excel, etc. just not Adobe Reader v9. Any ideas on what I can do to resolve this issue? Thanks.

Same thing happened to me with a Dell P1500 (rebranded Lexmark). I tried printing out a multi-page PDF and out comes only the 1st page. I donn't have time to fiddle, so I'm going to try an older version. I wish for more KISS principle.

Regarding the problem of Adobe Reader 9 only printing the first page, I had success following the advice of Eric Beach (msge.#48, copied below)

We had the same issues with 9.0 in my office printing to a Kyocera KM3225E and we were able to fix it by changing the Advanced print feature "Font and Resource Policy" to "Send for Each Page" We have printed test documents from multiple computers with success

    Thanks

    >recently i was trying to free up some space and deleted my older versions of adobe reader (6.0 and 8.1 i think)

You probably deleted Acrobat (not Reader) which is what you would use to get this ability.

Hi, I had this function in my windows explorer where I could right-click on a document (word, publisher etc) and choose the option convert to pdf. whoever installed my computer when i bought it must have added this feature. recently i was trying to free up some space and deleted my older versions of adobe reader (6.0 and 8.1 i think) and then i just downloaded adobe reader 9. i can open pdfs fine but now the function to convert them using windows explorer doesn't work anymore.
    Any ideas?

SOLUTION WORKED -- Thanks Eric Beach! We had two Canon copier/printers and a Dell(Lexmark)5200 with this problem after upgrading to Acrobat 9.0 Standard. Our Kyocera FS-3800 was the only one without the issue. When in Adobe, go to the Print Dialogue box, at the bottom corner click "Advanced", change the Font and Resource Policy drop down box to "Send for Each Page" and click OK, OK. This change needs to be done to each workstation, but so far it has tested perfectly. Thanks again to Eric!

I am having this problem with both Acrobat Reader 9 and Acrobat Standard 9. We are using a Sharp MX3501n. We have tried all of the solutions here but the problem still keeps creeping up. We have had to install Reader 8 for all of our users. It seems to me that this is an Adobe problem not a driver or printer issue.

I have a problem printing PDF's using adobe reader 9 with HP 1000 and service pack 3 I can fix by turning off spooler then deleteing .sho .spl and reseting spooler services to start.

With adobe 8.? the spooler problem completely jammed up access to all printers. Seems the spooler was locked up. With v 9.0 things were a little better (could access other printers etc.)

If you Are Using the Kyocera KX Print Driver Change it to PCL rather then KPDL this should Resolve your Issue. It may help other whose printers may be using a Proprietary Print Language.
