Hi. After updating Adobe Acrobat Reader DC to version 21.001.20135, an ad banner appeared at the top right panel. How can I remove it? Is there ane reg tweak?

Correct answer gauranja

Hi gauranja,

thanks a lot it works. Only come back when I make a upgrade. With a new Installation the reg works.

Hi Heike, please try the following registry:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\DC\FeatureLockDown]
"bEnablePersistentButton"=dword:00000000

Hi Matvey, the banner can be removed by setting the following registry:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\Trunk\FeatureLockDown]
"bEnablePersistentButton"=dword:00000000

Because I don't need pro version features.
