Question

Saving a copy of a read only file

Hello,

I have created a template for our company time cards for employees to fill out on our new tablets.  When I downloaded the file to the tablets it was automatically set to read only, which theoretically is fine for my purposes.  The problem is that when the file is opened on the tablet and it asks if you want to save a copy so that it can be filled, it doesn't bring up a dialogue box to rename the file.  This means that the time cards are just being saved as TIME_CARD, TIME_CARD(1), TIME_CARD(2), etc.  I would like them to be able to rename the file before it is saved to the tablet so that the file names will be TIME_CARD_employeename_date.  Is there a way to enable this?  They are Samsung tablets running Acrobat Reader.

Hi default6esyl8xg0taa,

Try with File>Save As option and then change name of the file you want to save.

Thanks
