TOC not displaying on a PDF that was sent to me.

I am unable to view the TOC on a PDF someone sent to me. He is able to view the TOC on his end though.

I am not sure what you mean. As far as I know I can see all other pages, just not the TOC. I have tried selecting the bookmark but it just shows thumbnails where the TOC would be. I also made sure I have the most up to date version of Adobe Reader. Also, I can see the TOC on some PDFs but not on others.

Acrobat Reader can only display bookmarks when there are bookmarks in the PDF file.

I was trying anything to see if it would generate the TOC. It is just weird becase the person who sent me the PDF file is able to see the TOC just fine on his end.
