I signed up for the basis acrobat reader conversion program, however it will not let me convert PDF to Word. I have looked at the troubleshooting tips and the how to tips but after I sign in it just says this is not supported and directs me back to sign up for the conversion program. I would much rather talk to someone but I can't seem to find a number to call or the option for a chat. I have a PC. Any help would be appreciated.
Hi dianar30180588,
Try to use the Export PDF service online https://cloud.acrobat.com/exportpdf

I signed up today as well and quickly cancelled because I could not get it to work and I read, they have not been able to get it to work for years. I am going to monitor the forum and see if they ever get a solution before I try it again.

Can I have a phone number to call to your technician? I HAVE CONVERTED MY PDF INTO WORD DOC, BUT IT DISTORTED EVERYTHING. I need one of two things from you. 1. to convert my PDF CV into word doc(without distortion), IN ORDER amend my CV and convert again into PDF. OR 2. Find a way how I CAN type on PDF in order to edit (AMEND) my CV. If this is not possible I would like to get my money back.

Robertas

I paid for an annual subscription to Adobe Export PDF, and it will convert to word, but the word doc is not configured as the original doc. I have had this program for quite a few years and never had a problem till a few months back. What is the problem?

Hello Anand,
Thank you for your reply! Honestly, there is an issue with this program. I have used this for resumes in my business, hundreds of them a year, and I have used your program for quite a few years, on multiple computers. I have never had a problem prior to the last few months. Dell technical support has tried to help, on two different occasions. We have uninstalled, reconfigured, just about ever possible solution, to no avail.
There is an issue coming from Adobe, obviously. There are currently on your website, Adobe Standard DC, and Adobe Pro DC. I use Export PDF for my business. Knowing the quantity of documents, what do you recommend? My guess is Adobe is attempting to transition everyone from Export PDF, to the more expensive plans. Am I correct? I understand that you are technical support and are not responsible for policy decisions, but this policy decision by Adobe is fairly dishonest.
Please advise on the two products!
Thank you!

Hello Lmcyber,
We apologize for the inconvenience caused, as per the description above I can understand that you want to use the Adobe ExportPDF service with Acrobat Standard DC or Acrobat Pro DC, Is that correct?
Adobe ExportPDF is an online Document Cloud service, and this service can be accessed on the browser through the URL https://cloud.acrobat.com/exportpdf with your Adobe ID and password, or with the free desktop version of Adobe Reader DC.
If you subscribe to Acrobat Standard DC or Acrobat Pro license/subscription, then you will have access to all the Document Cloud services which you have with Adobe ExportPDF, you will be able to edit PDF files with Acrobat Pro or Standard DC, can convert PDF files into Word, Excel, PowerPoint or any Rich Text Format file. But you cannot edit any PDF file using the Adobe ExportPDF service.
If you want to use Adobe ExportPDF service, then I will request you to uninstall Acrobat Standard or Pro from your computer, and install Adobe Reader DC from Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution and use the services.
You will face issues while accessing the Adobe ExportPDF service through Acrobat Standard or Pro software as you are not subscribed to the license of Acrobat Standard or Pro.
Hope this helps and clarifies, and feel free to update this discussion in case you need further assistance.
Regards,
Anand Sri.

In my case the link given at the beginning of this thread only converted page 1 of 9 into word. The Adobe reader programme on my computer does not acknowledge that I have now paid a subscription - which I had no choice but to do. So, the subscription is not doing what it said it would. I'm guessing you are based in the US so zero consumer protection, certainly for non US customers. Shame, I had Adobe pegged as a good thing. No longer!

I am having the same problem as the original poster. I have the one-year membership to export PDF documents however, when I click on export PDF, it automatically takes me to the membership pricing landing page. When I click on the membership I have now, it takes me to "My Plan" page and tells me I already have this as a plan and I can't sign up for 2 of the same plan. Good, I don't want 2 of the same thing, I just want the one I paid for to work when I need it to. I went to the cloud to try and export from there and have the same issue, it just takes me to a different pricing page.

I renewed my service in October 2017 and I have not been able to use it yet. Every time I try to convert a file it takes me to the purchase page as if I have not purchased the service. I am very disappointed and if I do not get this resolved I will never use this service again.
