Unable to edit the fields using Fill & Sign

Hi All,

Previously our user is able to add/edit her pdf fields using Adobe reader Fill & Sign function. But just few days ago when she try to edit using the Fill & Sign, the "type text here" appears instead and unable to edit the text.

We tested by typing the some text inside "type text here" , and then saved. We go back to the document again and try to edit and it works. But it don't work for the other fields that created from the past.

Any advice or solution that we can apply to allow the fields to be able to edit again for the pdf forms?

1) Save As a word document.2) Open in Word3) Modify as needed.4) Inside Word, Save As PDF.Done.

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that. As described you are unable to fill and sign the fields that were created in the past.

What happens when you try to fill the form fields? Do you get any error message? If yes, please share the screenshot of the same for a better understanding.

Is this a behavior with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check. Also, please share the file with us so that we can check it at our end.

Also make sure you have the recent version 21.07.20099 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.
