Unable to Preview PDF files in Outlook 2016

When I get a pdf attchment and try to prview it in Outllok 2016, it gives me an error. I have tried all the suggestions as far as re-installing changing the settings for Adobe Reader to enable thumbnails.

Also made sure t Attachment preview is not turned off .Registry settings  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Classes\CLSID\{DC6EFB56-9CFA-464D-8880-44885D7DC193} Please advise. Really need this fixed. This is happening on multiple computers that have Reader and in a Windows setting.

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble As described you are unable to preview PDF files in Outlook

 

Is this an issue with the PDF files only or with other format files as well? Please try to preview a different format file and check.

 

Also check for any missing/pending updates for MS office/outlook and try updating it and see if that helps.

Hello Amal,

 

Is this an issue with the PDF files only or with other format files as well? Please try to preview a different format file and check.

I tried an Excel file and it previewed just fine. This is happening only with PDF Files

 

Also check for any missing/pending updates for MS office/outlook and try updating it and see if that helps.

There are no Microsoft office /Outlook updates pending. They are all up to date.

I have tried all that was stated in this article before I contacted the Adobe Community support

 

Please advise and provide a fix. . This is not only on one computer. Also it is only happening with Reader and not Acrobat Pro or Std.
