Unable to save as reader extended PDF in Adobe 9 Pro Extended

New Here ,
Apr 02, 2018 Apr 02, 2018

I'm unable to allow readers to save the data they typed by using the preferred method I've researched: choose File > Save As Other > Reader Extended PDF > Enable More Tools (Includes Form Fill-in & Save).

My 'save as' doesn't show this option. What am I missing. Please help!!

Thanks.

In your version it should be under the Advanced menu, and it's called "Extended features in Adobe Reader", or something similar.

Hi Thehowc,

Correction-

As mentioned by jane-e and try67  the functionality you are looking for, should be available under "Advanced" menu for Acrobat version IX.

Please check the same at your end, and if possible share the screenshot of the options you see there.

Regards,

Akanchha

While saving the file, you should get the options show in the screenshot below-

Akki_24, the OP is using Acrobat 9, and it is not in the File menu in Acrobat 9.

No, it wasn't until Acrobat X that Adobe moved things that were scattered in other menus to the File menu. Try the Advanced menu. If it's not there, look in Tools and Forms and Comments. Post a screen shot of some of these menus if you can't find it They changed the interface for X and XI, and again for DC, so it's hard to remember back to Acrobat 9.
