I've moved your post from Creative Cloud desktop to the Photoshop forum.
Try this: go to Photoshop menu > Settings > Interface > Select a font size and relaunch Photoshop.
I don't know if LRC has the same settings. Check here:

@jane-e ’s last post was
»You're welcome, @default8wcd4dpnqeru , and I'm glad it's working now. 😊
so what are you talking about exactly?
By @c.pfaffenbichler
Hi CP,
I had to start reading at the beginning of this old thread before I could answer you.
The OP question was: "am I able to elongate an individual handle along the exact same angle that it currently lies on?"
I told him it can be done in Illustrator, not Photoshop and then told him how to elongate an individual handle along the exact same angle in Illustrator. My screenshots are from Illustrator. The OP said, "Thank you for this! It's really appreciated," to which I replied "You're welcome."
Does that answer your question?
Jane
EDIT: I just sorted the thread by Linear View instead of Threaded View and see that your reply was to Aaron, not me. 😊 I'll leave this as it might help Aaron.

Photoshop for iPhone was released very recently, but I thought it was not available for Android. The system requirements are only for iPhone.
https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/mobile/get-set-up/learn-the-basics/technical-requirements.html
Is it possible that you are using Photoshop Express instead of Photoshop on your Android phone?
If you are not sure, post a screenshot.

I've locked this thread. The OP re-posted in the Photoshop forum after almost a week of letting it sit unanswered in the Bridge forum.

Try one thing that is "gentler" than uninstall/reinstall. Once you get a warning and dismiss it, it does not reappear, but this can be reversed.
The first time you save a file, you will be asked if you want to save (by default) to your computer or to the cloud. When you re-display warnings, this dialog (as well as others) then will reappear and let you select "On my computer". The only downside is that all the other dialogs you have dismissed will return, but that also happens with uninstall/reinstall and resetting preferences.
https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#disable-warning-messages
Disable [re-display] warning messages
Sometimes you will see messages containing warnings or prompts. You can suppress the display of these messages by selecting the Don’t Show Again option in the message. You can also globally redisplay all messages that have been suppressed.
Do one of the following:
Windows: Choose Edit > Preferences > General
macOS: Choose Photoshop > Settings > General
Click Reset All Warning Dialogs, and click OK.

What happens when you don't use a Shape layer?
https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/substance-3d-materials-for-photoshop.html
Applying Materials
Applying a Material to a layer: To apply a material, select one of the material previews in the panel while the layer is selected. This will duplicate the selected layer as a Smart Object with the selected material applied as a Smart Filter. To create additional material layers, select another layer with no materials applied before selecting a preview in the Materials tab.
Applying Materials to Layers with Marquee Selections: If a marquee selection is made on a layer, applying a material to that layer will create a duplicate of the selected layer as a Smart Object with the selected material applied as a Smart Filter and a layer mask created from the marquee selection.
Applying Materials to Text Layers: Applying a material when a text layer is selected will create a new layer over the text as a Smart Object and the selected material applied as a Smart Filter. This layer will be set as a clipping mask to reveal the material only where there is text.
Updating Materials: When a layer with a material is selected, selecting another preview in the Materials tab will replace the material in the selected layer.

What is causing this?
By @Richard210363
One possibility is corrupt preferences. Reset them manually by renaming the preferences file. When you relaunch, Photoshop will create a new one and you can get the old one back if needed. Back up customization first, of course.

I'm not sure that I followed all of your lengthy post, but I think that what you were saying is that the word Iris pops up every time you create a Drop shadow or bevel and emboss.
The first thing to try is to reset each style to its defaults.
If that doesn't work, reset Preferences manually after making a back up. When you rename the Preferences file and relaunch, Photoshop creates a new preferences file. Because the original file was renamed and not deleted, you can always retrieve it if it does not solve the issue.

Is there a shortcut that I might be triggering by accident?
By @Trevor.Dennis
Hi Trevor, any chance you are using these shortcuts accidentally?
Darker: Ctrl (Cmd) + Shift + F1 for a darker tone
Lighter: Ctrl (Cmd) + Shift + F2 for a lighter tone

You posted to the dead forum for Adobe Digital Editions, which is a reader for e-books. I've moved your post to the Premiere Pro forum, where they can better assist. It's possible that Adobe After Effects would work, but they can better advise.

Are you using Proxima Nova from Adobe fonts? If so, here are the licensing terms:
https://helpx.adobe.com/fonts/using/font-licensing.html
"Can I use the fonts to create a logo or other images?
"Yes. You can use the fonts in any desktop program (such as Adobe Photoshop) to create images or vector artwork, which you can then use for any purpose. This includes generating a PDF, EPS file, or bitmapped file such as a JPEG or PNG."
If you purchased from another vendor, check their licensing agreement.

Do the existing apps that are already installed continue to work?
One possible reason for not being able to download new apps is that your computer does not meet the system requirements for the application. See this help page, then click the link for an app you are trying to download for its requirements.

@Tessitori SpA wrote "There is no actual savings with the annual payment"
In addition to what Dave said, the Photography plan (annual, paid monthly) is going up. The Photography plan (annual, paid in a lump sum) has not changed. The extra cost comes from the increase for the annual plan, paid monthly.
See this blog for details:
https://blog.adobe.com/en/publish/2024/12/15/all-new-photography-innovations-pricing-updates
"These plan updates come into effect for new subscribers on January 15, 2025, and will become effective for existing members only when your plan next renews."

A BSOD is usually caused by either buggy drivers and or failing hardware. I'll tag two experts from the Photoshop forum for you: @Ged_Traynor and @D Fosse .
To assist them, go to Help > System Info, then click Copy. Paste the entire contents into a Reply window.
If you prefer, we can move your post to the Photoshop forum. Let us know.
