Why, if this is by design, would you want to zoom into a single pixel at 32000% by default? By @Ghoul Fool   The default is not zooming into a single pixel at 32000%.   It zooms to the area of the canvas that you drag across. Before we had scrubby zoom, it worked in a similar, but not the same way. When scrubby zoom is turned off in the options bar, you still drag the mouse, but you get a rectangular box showing you what you're going to zoom into and you can use the space bar shortcut to move the box to control where your zoom is going to be. Either way, dragging with the Zoom tool will zoom to the amount that you drag across.    To see how it works, try, dragging across one of her eyes or both of her eyes or her entire face with the Zoom tool.   Jane       ... I think the problem is cause by a slight movement on the magnifying tool on a click By @Ghoul Fool   Yes, that's it. Dragging with the Zoom tool will zoom to the area where you drag, even if it is a small amount. This is by design and is not a Bug. I've moved your post to Disussions for now.   Click without dragging to control the zoom level. In Windows Explorer, browse to the document or file for which you want to create a desktop shortcut. Right-click the name of the document, and then click Create shortcut. In Windows 11 you may have to select Show more options to find Create shortcut. @pierre_2022    Do you you have Sample All Layers enabled? (Step 3) What is on the layer underneath where your cursor is dragging? (Step 4)   From help: Select the Smudge tool (R) from the toolbar. If you can't find the Smudge tool, click and hold the Blur tool to show the other related tools, and then select the Smudge tool. Choose a brush tip and and blend mode options in the options bar.  Select Sample All Layers in the options bar to smudge using color data from all visible layers. Deselect the option to only use colors from the active layer. Select Finger Painting in the options bar to smudge using the foreground color at the beginning of each stroke. Deselect Finger Painting to use the color under the pointer at the beginning of each stroke. Click and drag in the image to smudge the pixels.   Jane    ... View more

@Rafaela36761243v8uv    When you rename or move the prefences file, then Adobe cannot find it and will create a new one. The old one is preserved with the new name or location so you can retrieve it if it does not solve the issue. Photoshop preferences contain Actions, Swatches, Brushes, and other customization, so it's recommend that you back these up first. I do it two ways: using Save in each of the panel menus plus renaming the Preferences file.   Here is the help file with step-by-steps. Because the Camera Raw Filter modifies a single layer, it doesn't include tools or features that can modify document properties. These features include removing Workflow Options and the Crop tool.
