Unable to use free acrobat

I had the free version of acrobat on my computer. My wife logged in to her Pro version on my computer, then logged out. Now I can't get into the free version (which is all I need) because it keeps saying to buy or start a free trial which I don't want to do. We have logged out, uninstalled and reinstalled the free version, rebooting the computer and clearing the casche. Any suggestions? I only need a reader for bills that come in for the non-profit I volunteer for. I do not want the paid version. Thanks.

Uninstall the software.

Run Adobe CC cleaner and remove the Adobe ID info.

Download and reinstall Reader. (Be sure to deselect the McAfee Virus "offer")

Thank you so much! I kept going around in circles.

That _should_ work. It's what I would do. Post back if it doesn't work.
