Hi all,

I have DC reader installed on my PC, but when I try and view a statement on a particular website, it says I must install Adobe 7, should Dc reader not be able to read these pdfs'?

Yes it SHOULD, but contact the website owner to find out how they are creating the PDF to find out if they are using some setting that "mandates" a specific version of Acrobat

Thanks for the suggestion.  I tried using explorer instead of chrome and it worked fine.  It is a chrome issue.

Chrome updates itself, no updating needed. Some PDF files can’t be viewed in Chrome, you must download the files then open in Reader.

To clarify a bit (sorry if it's already been mentioned). Chrome does not use the Adobe Reader plug-in. Many browsers don't. They have their own viewers that do a bad job at opening many different types of pdf files (mostly fillable forms). To get around this, always use a browser that has the Adobe pdf plug-in enabled or alternately, you can right-click the link to the pdf, save it to your computer then open it within Adobe Reader itself.
