That is the error code, not the version number.  The version will be something like 15.006.30033 or 15.007.20033; see your Programs & Features.

Hi I've got the same issue as tedford2 with Acrobat v15.009.20071 & W10x64.

Basically it happens when I open a PDF from an external source: firefox download, everything (equivalent of windows search)...

If I open the PDF directly from Windows explorer, it's fine.

When that message arises, I click twice on OK but it doesn't close Acrobat, so I assume it closes something else like a plugin maybe.

I've executed the registry key you've shared on your last post pwillener, but it doesn't change anything.

Any other idea please? Thanks in advance.
