Whenever I open Acrobat Reader DC I get the following error message "The application was unable to start correctly. (0xc00000a5). Click OK to close the application" Can anyone help?

That is the error code, not the version number. The version will be something like 15.006.30033 or 15.007.20033; see your Programs & Features.

Hi I've got the same issue as tedford2 with Acrobat v15.009.20071 & W10x64.
Basically it happens when I open a PDF from an external source: firefox download, everything (equivalent of windows search)...
If I open the PDF directly from Windows explorer, it's fine.
When that message arises, I click twice on OK but it doesn't close Acrobat, so I assume it closes something else like a plugin maybe.
I've executed the registry key you've shared on your last post pwillener, but it doesn't change anything.
Any other idea please? Thanks in advance.
