Question

Why do some documents print in reverse (white text on black background) while others don't?

I'm using the latest version of Acrobat Reader (23.003.20244) and a document in one tab prints in reverse while another in a different tab prints as expected with no change to printer settings.

It may be coincidence, but the documents that case trouble are PDF's from HelloFax, now part of Dropbox, so I'm suspecting there is some attribute of the document that causes the problem.

I'm still having the problem, and will be grateful for any other suggestions.

Check the properties. Ctrl/Cmd D. Out of memory, there should be an advanced tab, where you find prining presets. You may find there a prest printing parameter for this.

Thanks for that suggestion.  I did try it, but don't see anything relevant in the options.

They display correctly?

Yes, they display with black text on white. It is only printing that is
reversed for some documents.
