why is the purple bar missing on reader?

Hi,

I'm getting an error message to ensure that the 'highlight fields' button in the purple bar is deselected. The problem is that I have no button and no purple bar.

Reader says that it is up-to-date. I used it a couple of months ago to do this same document with no problem and haven't touched any of the settings, so I'm a bit stumped!

Please can someone help?

Here are screenshots before and after the error message appears (which is when I click 'calculate' in the document).

I've played around with all of the views and tool bars and cannot get the button or the purple bar to appear.

Ok. The Highlight Fields button normally appears on a PDF with forms fields, but you can control the display in Preferences:

Im using the same form as above and I'm having the same problem. I can not find the answer anywhere. Really need some help getting the fixed.

Yes that’s correct. I’m not sure how I fixed the issue, but I made a new account with ftax and it just worked. Didn’t see the red notice again.
