Acrobat mobile not recognizing pdf documents as such

I attempted to save a PDF to Acrobat on IOS, and it, not recognizing it as a PDF, only offered options to create or edit. I went back and confirmed that the original document was a PDF, and am utterly confused.

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for your experience with using Acrobat Reader Mobile on iOS.

Please let us know the source from which you are trying to open the file in Acrobat.

A screen recording of the entire event would be great to understand and troubleshoot further.

Also, please update the app to the latest version as per AppStore for the best experience.
