Would you mind sharing the version of the Acrobat Reader mobile app you are using? Tap on the profile icon > About Acrobat and try updating the app from the Play Store and reboot the device once and check.
You may also try to clear the App cache and reboot the device and see if that helps: Go to Phone settings > Apps > Tap on the Adobe Acrobat > Storage > Clear Cache.
