My Adobe reader crashes now when I try to open pdf attachments I receive in Outlook Mobile (365) on my android S21+. Is there a fix for this? It just started happening this week. However, if I "save" instead of trying to preview the attachment to the device, I can find it in the folder and open. I just cannot preview in Outlook mobile. Or if I forward to my gmail address on mobile device, it will allow me to open from the attachment on the forwarded email.
Thank you

I have been getting the same issues with our staff on the most recent version of the Adobe Acrobat Reader app and discovered if you uninstall the app and reinstall it then go into Settings-> apps -> Click on Adobe Acrobat -> scroll down to open by default and open the setting -> select clear default.
When you open a PDF from and email it will prompt for which application select Adobe Acrobat reader it will then open just fine.
When selecting the app dont hit aways becasue this will set the default again.
The problem seems to be with setting the app as default and as long as you dont set it for the short term you will be fine.
hopefully Adobe will get this corrected soon.

Would you mind sharing a few details to understand the issue better?
1. Android version?
2. Application version?
3. A video/ screen recording that shows the issue clearly?
Make sure that the app is updated to the latest version.
Looking forward to hearing back from you.
Thanks,
Harsh

Thanks for providing the details. Could you check if you can open any other filetypes like, Excel, word?
Is it happening with all PDF attachments or just one PDF?
