Adobe Reader Crashing on startup on apple IPAD 6-18-25

New Here ,
Jun 18, 2025 Jun 18, 2025

I'm having an issue where when I attempt to open the Adobe Reader app on my IPHONE or IPAD, the app crashes and closes.

The IOS is up todate; I've tried deleting the app and redownloading from the app store; hard reboots; the usual.

Is there a known outage or something preventing the applications from opening?

Any help / insight would be appreciated.

Hi SmA,

Thank you for reaching out, and we are sorry to hear about the trouble caused.

If the files were saved locally in the application, I am afraid they cannot be recovered. Once you uninstall the application on an iOS device, the data is removed along with the application, which is a design feature of iOS devices.

We always suggest backing up data when uninstalling the application on iOS devices.

However, if you have any files saved on Adobe Cloud Storage, you can find them on the Acrobat web account. To access the files on the cloud, go to Files > Adobe Cloud Storage on your device.

I hope this information is helpful to you.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

I'm having the same issues. I lost quite a few files today that had customer's signatures. I uninstalled, reinstalled, checked updates, restarted the iPads. This is frustrating.
