Can’t sign read only file on ipad

I've tried saving read only files multiple times and cannot get the iPad to sign?

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for your experience with Acrobat Reader Mobile.

There are limitations with the mobile version of Acrobat when it comes to working with Read-Only files. 

You might want to try out the web version of Acrobat to sign the document: https://acrobat.adobe.com/link/document.
