Hi Micheles,

As you have mentioned above, you make the modification on the PDF in Adobe Acrobat Reader application.

Then you reply to the users of the cloud (ownCloud and Nextcloud). How exactly you reply to the user of the cloud?

As per the application working, once you modify the document you can share it using the Share icon or you can update it to Document Cloud.

Would you please help us with the exact workflow you do on PC, iPad, and iPhone?

Also, let us know what happens when you try the same on the Android device.

We will be waiting for your response.

Regards,

Meenakshi

Hi sir, we have a nextcloud platform connected by many users with

differents login. If a windows user makes a modify to a pdf file, in few

seconds the file will be updated to all. If an Apple user (iPad or iPhone)

makes a modify will be updated to all. If a Android user makes a modify we

have the confirm that file is saved but there's not update to all. Only in

modify mode we have the problem because if an android user creates a new

pdf file on local and force the sync, the file will be updated to all. We

have the problem only with pdf files (xls or jpg extension work properly).

With the same platform and architecture 6 months ago all worked fine...

Regards

Normally, the procedure from Apple or Android users is the same. We open

owncloud or nextcloud app, we open a pdf file, we wait the downloading from

the cloud, we modify the file, we close the pdf file, and we have two

possibilities.

1) we wait the first automatic sync

2) we force sync with the icon "update"

In every situation when we make a modify in Android platform, after saving

if we make update, system replace de cloud version

Thank you for providing the workflow.

Just need to confirm, when you open the PDF from NextCloud for modification, where does the Adobe come into this scenario?

Are you using the Adobe Acrobat Reader mobile application in this workflow?

Regards,

Meenakshi

Thank you for the confirmation.

As you have mentioned above, downloading a different cloud has fixed the issue.

It does not seem to be an Adobe issue though.

Also, it seems that when you download the file from the Cloud, it gets saved in the device location.

The Reader application is used to view and modify the PDF. It does not sync the file automatically to other clouds other than Document Cloud.

Let us know if you have any questions or need any help.

Regards,

Meenakshi
