Using Acrobat Reader for iPad -- version 25.01.00
Arrow tool selected
Drag to select some text
Choose "Highlight" from the popup
Click the circular color picker
Result: the color picker no longer shows a palette of colors.
Instead, it show an opacity slider for the current color.
What changed?
I rely on the ability to pick among different colors to convey different things in highlighted text.

Hi there
Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.
I have tried to reproduce the issue at my end and the app is working as expected. As you have the latest version of the app installed, please try to log out of the app, reboot the device and re-login with the same Adobe ID and check if that works.
Also, what happens when you tap on the currently selected color in the color picker and see if you get the full-color palette as before to select the new color.
Additional information: For future reference and self-help please check the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/mobile-app-faq.html
Let us know how it goes.

Hi!
After logging out of the app, rebooting the device, and logging back in with the same Adobe ID (version 25.01.05 installed), I still encounter the same problem.
Only an opacity slider for the current color appears when clicking the color picker.

Hi Amal,
I tried signing out and then back in. The issue persists.
My device is a 4th gen 12.9" iPad Pro.
OS version is 18.3.1
If it would help, I could record and send you a video of the issue.
Note: this does not occur on my iPhone.
Note: while the problematic color popup is visible, if I rotate the device, the color pop up resizes and either: shows the expected color, or show a vacant area except for a highlighted black square.
Also, I'm an Adobe employee, so if connecting at work would help resolve this, please let me know.
Thanks.
Allan Y.

Hi Allan
Thanks for sharing the details. A small video recording of the steps you are taking and the issue as it occurs would be very helpful for more clarity and further investigation.

This is happening to me as well. Did you find a fix?
If I rotate the device after selecting a highlighted section, the colour options show. It seems insane that I should have to be constantly rotating my device just to change colours...
It's not a cheap suite of apps, very frustrating to have such simple functions inaccessible.

Has there been any movement on this fix? It's incredibly difficult to do my job without being able to color-match fonts

Hi there
Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.
This issue was addressed in one of our earlier releases. Would you mind updating the Acrobat mobile application to the latest version available on the App Store and reboot the device once and see if that helps.
Let us know if you still experience this issue after updating the application.
~Amal
